1. Alignment & Approval
- All applications are subject to review and approval by CVA and CR.
- Both parties retain absolute discretion to accept or decline any submission.
- Businesses must demonstrate integrity, honest customer care, and community alignment to be considered.
- Payment is required at the time of application.
- Applications without full payment will not be processed.
- All payments are final, subject to the refund policy outlined below.
3. Refund Policy
- Once an article has been drafted or published, no refunds will be issued.
- In rare cases where a published web-only article must be withdrawn (due to client request, discovery of new information, or legal concerns), withdrawal will not entitle the client to a refund.
- Refunds will not be issued for stories published across multiple channels (print, newsletter, social media, homepage).
- Clients must provide accurate information and high-quality photos with their application.
- Applications without photos will not be accepted.
- Clients are responsible for responding to requests for additional information in a timely manner.
- Clear View Spotlight is not responsible for errors or omissions resulting from incomplete or inaccurate client submissions.
- Approved clients will either complete a Q&A or participate in a 30-minute strategy call (depending on package).
- CVA will draft the article based on responses or call notes.
- Clients will receive one draft for review and may request one round of revisions.
- Additional revisions beyond the first round may incur additional fees.
- Once client approval is received, CVA will submit the article to CR for final review and publication.
- CR retains editorial control over formatting, placement, and timing of publication.
- Articles will be labeled as sponsored content.
- All Spotlight articles will include attribution indicating they are curated by Clear View Advantage.
- Clients in these packages will receive a performance report approximately 30 days after publication.
- CVA and CR are not responsible for third-party metrics (e.g., search engine fluctuations, algorithm changes).
- CVA and CR are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from participation in the program.
- Liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific Spotlight package.
- CVA and CR reserve the right to withdraw or remove any article if new information emerges that could negatively impact credibility, legal standing, or community trust.
- Removal of an article under these circumstances does not entitle the client to a refund.
